Brushfoil polyester (PET) films are mechanically abraded to create a stainless steel or brushed foil aesthetic to cards, packaging, signage and automotive applications. In addition to improving or customizing aesthetics, the rough surface created by the scraping process promotes bonding to coatings and adhesives.
