Casting & Release films perform as carrier substrates and are used to provide the rigidity necessary in various manufacturing processes. These films can act as a skin the fabrication process and then removed during the final production stage. Alternatively, casting films can remain adhered to the structure for end-use or be consumed as lead and trailer film.
