MYLAR® RL53

MYLAR® RL53 is a FDA compliant biaxially oriented polyester with an EVA heat seal layer. It is used as a heat sealable lidding film in packaging frozen and refrigerated food. RL53 seals to a broad range of container substrates including APET, PETG, CPET, polyester coated paperboard, PVC, HDPE and HIPS. This film has the same type of heat seal layer as RL51, however the seal layer is thicker and provides a stonger seal to most substrates.
